Krzysztof Cichocki
His scientific activity concerns numerical simulation of complex engineering problems, including impact dynamics (explosions, crashes, etc), constitutive material modelling, analysis of vehicle trajectories due to accidents and many other real-life scenarios and phenomena. He was working on many research projects, in Italy (Dipartimento di Ingegnaria Strutturale, Politecnico di Milano), USA (FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, Tallahassee) and Poland (Koszalin University of Technology). He was a coordinator of many research projects, granted by Committee of Scientific Research, Ministry of Science and Higher Education, National Centre of Science. His didactic activity also concerns various subjects connected with numerical methods in mechanics, structural dynamics, computational methods, analysis of limit states for structures, etc.
